History:

The F-15C Strike Eagle is an improved F-15A version: a single-seat all-weather air-superiority fighter aircraft primarly used by the U.S Air Force. Additions incorporated in the F-15C include upgrades to avionics as well as increased internal fuel capacity and a higher allowable gross takeoff weight.A total of 408 F-15C were built. The operational F-15C force structure is approximately 300 aircraft assigned to operational units. Additionally, The USAF announced their plan to upgrade 178 F-15C fighters with the AN/APG-63(v)3 AESA radar at the Air Force Association's Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition in Washington D.C.
